HISTORY
|
Kendriya VIDYALAYA, New Cantt. Allahabad came into existance in 10-07-1976.The Vidyalaya which is now having the status of a Model KV is located on a lush green campus of more tahn 16 acres on V.D.road in the cantonmentarea. The present site on which the school exists today was acquired in the year 2000 and has been expanding continously in its scope & range of activities. |

* The school environmentwith a beautiful garden, trees and general cleanliness promotes a quiet and peaceful atmosphere to achieve the highest level of performance in all field. A- No of class rooms in the main school building is 58 B-No of other rooms is 12. C- No of Laboratories is 7. D- Indoor Games :- Badminton, Volley ball , Table tenis, chess. E- Out Door Games:- Football, Basket ball, Cricket. |

(i) Date of Openning of the K.V.:- 10-07-1976 (ii) We have classes from I to XII with Science,Humanities and Commerce stream at plus two level with a highly qualified and devoted team working with a highly degree of commitment and zeal. * Classes I TO X - Each class having Five Sections. * Class XI & XII Science - Each of Two Sections. * Class XI & XII Commerce - Each of one Section. * Class XI & XII Humanities - Each of One Section. (iii) Sector - Defence. (iv) Distt- Allahabad. (v) State - U.P. * A variety of sports and games as well as activities for scouts and guides are facilitated to the students. * We expand opportunities for children to participate in different co-curricular activities, excursions, trekking and mountaineering, cultural activities for the all round develoment for their personalities. * The School also provides adequete opportunities for students to develop their hobbies by arranging coachingfacilities in the field of music, Dance, Art & Craft, dress Designing, Sports & Communication Skills. |
